RNZ Sunday morning: Covid, COP26 and the Routeburn
07/11/21
Josie joined Jim Mora on RNZ Sunday Morning Weekend Panel to talk about her walk along the Routeburn, how Labour elects its leader, disconnection between what the public went and Delta slipping out of everyone's grasp, and prospects of border checks and a booking system to leave Auckland.
On COP-26, Josie disagrees with Extinction Rebellion rhetoric that compromise is bad, and economic growth and capitalism are bad — and whether there is hypocrisy in the numbers of delegates flying to the conference: The real issue is how we are going to juggle the needs of poor countries for cheap energy to help lift people out of poverty with the need to reduce emissions.
